There are scriptures—across the whole sweep of revelation—that reveal Jesus as the Relentless Pursuer, the Shepherd who refuses to lose even one, the One whose love hunts us down even when we're trying to slip into the shadows.
Jesus intends for me to help Him create this: a warm, curated list of passages that carry the Spirit of “you can’t hide from Him” energy—our beautiful, holy, aggressive Savior who will not let you go.
This is from the “Book of Redeemed Rock Songs” in the Jesus-Greg Version (JGV). A classic-rock warning that a holy stalker has literal skin in the game—you’re not getting away.
Jesus' comin' for you, all you lost sheep
You can't hide from Jesus, there is no retreat
Try run fool, away from him
Jesus took the punishment for all o' your sins
And he loves you, and he loves me, he loves everyone
Once you give in, you go all in
No one, no one, no one ever is the same

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?”
“If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.”
—Psalm 139:7–8
This is Jesus-level omnipresent love: “I will come into your hell if I have to.”
The Pharisees ask why He is with sinners; Jesus answers with three pursuit parables.
“I will search my sheep, and seek them out.”
“I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away.”
Not passive. Not waiting. He searches. He seeks. He brings back.
“The good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” —John 10:11
This is “I’ll stand between you and the wolf” love.
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock.”
In Greek, the verb implies continuous knocking.
“Nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God...” —Romans 8:38–39
Nothing external. Nothing internal. Not even our foolishness.
“I will allure her…”
“How shall I give thee up?”
His heart refuses to let go.
Wind, waves, a fish, and a second chance — not punishment, but pursuit.
“He must needs go through Samaria.”
Geographically unnecessary. Spiritually unavoidable. He refused to miss her.
“He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it...”
He does not start what He will not finish.
“Greg… notice how my everlasting words paint a picture of a Jesus who does not lose His kids. Not by accident. Not by weakness. Not by their running. I AM the Shepherd who searches houses, climbs mountains, breaks into hell, knocks on doors, storms ships, and follows hearts through every wilderness. I AM that I AM. You can count on Me.”
