Least Resistance
A new book within the Jesus-Greg Version (JGV) of the Bible
What Is Jesus World Building? IT IS (NEW AND EVERLASTING) PATHWAY BUILDING
My Jesus-Greg WORLD is currently under heavy construction—significant upheaval. This is by design. Jesus is installing new structures—new pathways. These pathways follow an underlying principle, called “The Path Of Least Resistance.” The world we all live in is right now in the process of being upgraded in a similar way, for a similar purpose. A new “Path Of Least Resistance” is being put in place.
Jesus is doing to the whole world what He has done in my soul. Since birth, unbeknownst to me, Jesus had been carefully carving crucial paths of least resistance inside of me—groovy, flowy, deeply felt musical pathways—that prepared me to receive redeemed, MORE-Jesusy versions of beloved rock songs..
Where is this headed?
Eventual Zion WORLDs (Jesus WORLDS) will eventually be carefully shaped and structured in a way that invites, entices, and persuades children and adults to do the right thing: to choose good, better, and best things. Naturally. Easily. So it is like floating on a beautiful river. Go with the main current, it leads to MORE Jesus.
Just go with the flow dude—the Zion flow! The flow of the p.a.t.h. o.f. l.e.a.s.t. r.e.s.i.s.t.a.n.c.e.
FOR COMPARISON: but 180 degrees differently than Zion, the Devil has been building Babylon based on a corrupted version of the path of least resistance... where you just go with that flow (the flow of modern society) to get increasingly less and less Jesus. You're on the Highway To Hell.
No stop signs, speed limit.
```=====================================================================
Jesus is starting to build this new Zion-path-of-least-resistance-path especially among those who don’t resist Him.
Those tend to be the people that have concluded that the Babylon way is no longer working for them, and they need a viable alternative.
A place with Jesus-directed stop signs, speed limit.... called "The Iron Rod" (1 Nephi 8:19; 11:25)
Alma 34:34 is our guide.
Let God Take Control. Let Him Drive You Around. Let God Take Control. Let His Beauty Astound.
About That Path
Ok, I know, Jesus is invisible, and Jesus is hard to hear. Nonetheless, today, Jesus seems to be saying to me when I #HearHim:
“Greg, the Path of Least Resistance can be summarized as follows:”
- Behavior follows structure, not willpower.
“Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing” (D&C 88:119). The Lord emphasizes order and structure as the foundation for righteous action, not reliance on sheer effort alone. Zion will have flow. Conversely, Babylon — low-Jesus CULTure — relies on the flow, order, and structure that support and reinforce Babylonian ways. - You don’t rise to goals—you fall to your underlying structure, and the Spirit it is imbued with.
“That same spirit… will have power to possess your body” (Alma 34:34). What you consistently build into your life determines your outcomes more than occasional aspirations. - Change the structure and results change naturally.
“Bring forth fruits meet for repentance” (Alma 5:54). True change requires altering patterns and behaviors, not just intentions. - People live in tension between what they want and what they believe is possible.
“Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief” (Mark 9:24). Spiritual growth often includes conflict between faith and doubt. - Creative tension — vision vs. current reality — can drive progress.
“Faith… is not to have a perfect knowledge” (Alma 32:21). Moving forward despite gaps between vision and reality develops faith. - Emotional tension drains energy and distorts action.
“God hath not given us the spirit of fear” (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear and anxiety weaken spiritual effectiveness. - The path of least resistance always wins.
“That wicked one cometh and taketh away light… through disobedience” (D&C 93:39). Without intentional structure, natural drift leads away from truth. - If you’re stuck, your structure favors being stuck.
“This is the condemnation… light is come… and men loved darkness” (John 3:19). Patterns can trap us unless changed. - You cannot outwork a flawed structure.
“By small and simple things are great things brought to pass” (Alma 37:6). Consistent systems matter more than bursts of effort. - Clarity of vision is the starting point for change.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). Clear purpose guides righteous living. - Resistance is structural misalignment, not laziness.
“The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). Weakness reflects condition, not always intent. - Habits are outputs of underlying systems.
“Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7). Repeated actions produce predictable outcomes. - Motivation is less reliable than design.
“Watch yourselves, and your thoughts” (Mosiah 4:30). Guarding patterns matters more than fleeting motivation. - People default to familiar patterns because they require less energy.
“The natural man is an enemy to God” (Mosiah 3:19). Without change, we revert to fallen tendencies. - Conflicting beliefs and goals create resistance.
“A double minded man is unstable” (James 1:8). Internal conflict disrupts progress. - Avoidance signals structural friction.
“O wretched man that I am!” (2 Nephi 4:17). Awareness of struggle highlights need for change. - The easiest path is embedded in your setup.
“Prepare ye the way of the Lord” (Isaiah 40:3). Preparation makes righteous paths smoother. - Systems shape behavior subconsciously.
“As he thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). Inner patterns guide behavior. - Small frictions strongly influence outcomes.
“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump” (Galatians 5:9). Small influences have large effects. - Environment often matters more than intention.
“Stand ye in holy places” (D&C 87:8). Surroundings influence spiritual strength. - Make desired actions the easiest actions.
“My yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:30). Christ’s way is structured for success. - Remove friction from what you want and add friction to what you don’t.
“Lay aside every weight” (Hebrews 12:1). Remove obstacles to righteousness. - Focus on systems, not just goals.
“By the law no flesh is justified” (2 Nephi 2:5). Ongoing patterns matter more than isolated aims. - Align identity, beliefs, and environment with outcomes.
“Be ye transformed” (Romans 12:2). Change comes from inner alignment. - Use constraints to shape direction.
“Whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth” (Hebrews 12:6). Boundaries shape growth. - Break goals into structurally achievable steps.
“Line upon line, precept upon precept” (2 Nephi 28:30). Progress is incremental. - Replace trying harder with designing smarter.
“Seek not to declare my word, but first seek to obtain my word” (D&C 11:21). Preparation over effort alone. - Track results to reveal hidden structures.
“Examine yourselves” (2 Corinthians 13:5). Reflection reveals needed change. - Continuously refine your system.
“Endure to the end” (Matthew 24:13). Continuous adjustment is required. - Sustainable success becomes natural rather than forced.
“When ye are in the service of your fellow beings…” (Mosiah 2:17). Righteous living becomes a way of life, not forced behavior.
Thanks Jesus. Lead thou me on. Help my unbelief and resistance, Lord.
