Quick Summary Of The Movie "Preflight Mind Stretch"

An Example

AN EXAMPLE OF HOW (in My Jesus-Greg WORLD)...... JESUS SUMMARIZES THE MOVIES HE (and I) MAKE, SO THAT I CAN QUICKLY REMIND MYSELF WHAT JESUS IS SAYING TO ME IN THE MOVIES HE MAKES. KIND OF LIKE SHORTHAND..

Core Thesis

This movie teaches (Greg) that Jesus is deliberately helping Greg love Jesus more deeply by giving Greg experiences, insights, revelations, and spiritual gifts that create what Greg calls the More Jesus Feeling.

This feeling is not presented as ordinary emotion only. Greg describes it as being filled with, accompanied by, or possessed by the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

The More Jesus Feeling

Greg says Jesus wants him to love Him with all his heart, might, mind, and strength. But that kind of love requires Jesus to give him reasons to love Him more than before.

The main way Jesus does this, according to Greg, is by giving him the More Jesus Feeling. Greg connects this feeling to the sacrament prayer: that we may always have His Spirit to be with us.

“I want to be possessed by the Spirit of Jesus Christ.”

Jesus Knows the Combination

Greg teaches that Jesus knows each person individually. Jesus knows what motivates them, what excites them, what stretches them, and what will draw them closer to Him.

Greg describes this by saying Jesus “coded” his DNA. Jesus knows the exact combination that will cause Greg to seek Him and love Him more.

Greg’s Particular Combination

For Greg, Jesus uses revelation, Zion, spiritual discovery, and the chance to spread good news. Greg imagines Jesus saying, in effect:

So Jesus gives Greg “news” about Early Zion and invites him to declare it.

Early Zion and Pieces of Zion

Greg believes Jesus has begun showing him pieces of Early Zion. These are spiritual treasures, ideas, songs, experiences, and patterns that may eventually be recognized as part of Zion.

But there is a catch: most people around Greg do not recognize these treasures. They may interact with them, but they do not feel their sweetness.

One Person’s Treasure Is Another Person’s Meh

A major lesson of the video is that something can be a true gift from Jesus to one person and still feel like a “nothingburger” to someone else.

Greg believes this is part of Zion training. In Zion, people will be of one heart and one mind, but each person will still have a deeply personal relationship with Jesus. Not every treasure will be meaningful to every person in the same way.

Learning to Value Treasure Without the Crowd

Greg says Jesus intentionally set him up to receive gifts that feel sweet and valuable to him, while very few others detect their sweetness.

The purpose is to teach Greg to value treasures because Jesus gives them, not because other people approve, understand, applaud, or care.

“I want you to practice seeing treasure through heaven’s eyes rather than public opinion.”

Mind Stretching

Greg explains that many blessings require preparation before they can be received. He calls this preparation stretching.

He compares it to ordinary life:

Capacity Comes Before Reception

One of the central ideas is that Jesus may not simply be trying to tell Greg something. Jesus may first be creating in Greg the capacity to hear it, believe it, and receive it.

The stretch creates room. The stretch creates a container. Then, later, a belief that once seemed impossible can feel natural.

The Two-Part Project

Part One: Pre-Flight

The first part is the preparatory phase. It stretches Greg’s mind and heart so he can receive something larger from Jesus.

Part Two: The Main Pathway

The second part focuses on a narrow example: Axl Rose and the song “November Rain.” Greg believes Jesus prepared and redeemed this song as a focused example of a much larger Zion pattern.

Swords Into Plowshares

Greg believes Jesus has already been preparing many things for future use in Zion. Some of these things may look ordinary, secular, incomplete, or even unholy until Jesus redeems them.

These may include songs, artists, technologies, stories, cultural artifacts, and other things that Jesus intends to turn into Zion tools.

Zion May Be Emerging Faster Than We Know

Greg’s larger conclusion is that Zion is not beginning from nothing. Jesus has already been preparing people, ideas, songs, technologies, and treasures for a long time.

Greg believes Jesus is training him to see those preparations, enjoy them, declare them, and trust that Zion will come forth by the power of God.

Final Summary

The video is about Jesus preparing Greg to receive Early Zion by stretching his mind, giving him spiritual treasures that others may not appreciate, and teaching him to value those gifts through heaven’s eyes rather than public opinion.

The hunger precedes the feast. The stretch precedes the inheritance. The capacity precedes the reception.
