Jesus as the Builder of Every Jesus-World
GET YOUR VERY OWN JESUS WORLD….OH, YOU ALREADY DID.
Every person already has a Jesus-world—a personal universe being shaped, orchestrated, sustained, and subtly curated by Jesus Himself. Most people live inside this world unknowingly. They are co-creating it, yes, but largely unwittingly, responding to the contours and constraints (divine chicane) Jesus has already placed around them. As described…
here (as told by Jesus and Neal Maxwell): https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/1996/10/according-to-the-desire-of-our-hearts?lang=eng,
and also here (as told by Jesus and Jordan Peterson and South Park): https://youtu.be/zpZFz8Dt9EY?si=114L6Ml2U-SiYBmE ,
and also here (as told by somebody else that Jesus and somebody else will tell me, eventually, I believe): (link pending)
Even the people who think of themselves as intentional world-builders—the ones who use that language consciously (“I’m building a virtual-physical world with Jesus”, “in My Jesus-Greg WORLD this is what Jesus and I do…”)—are still operating inside a reality where most of the world-building has already been done by Him…Jesus.
Elder Neal A. Maxwell once acknowledged this beautifully. He taught that our genes, environment, circumstances—all of it—matter deeply. They shape us. They influence us. They even constrain us. Nevertheless, he said, there exists a zone of sovereignty, a sacred pocket of agency where real choice is possible. But outside that zone? The architecture is already built.
✈ Jesus, Sweet Jesus, Jesus Savior,Pilot Me ✈
Being alive is like being a passenger on a plane. You have real choices—what to read, how to behave, what to think about. But countless choices have already been made for you long before you board:
………………..>the booking system
………………..> the runway
………………..>the aircraft design
………………..>the safety regulations
………………..>the routes in the sky
………………..>even the amount of space you have.
Additional reading that Jesus thinks Greg needs
In the same way, to say “Jesus is building my Jesus-Greg WORLD” is not poetic exaggeration—it is literal truth. What is “big” about that statement is not the small portion I contribute, but the vast, mountainous landscape of what He has already constructed:
My DNA.
My family.
My country.
My culture.
My time in history.
My instincts.
My temperament.
My gifts and weaknesses.
My wounds.
My burning questions.
My opportunities.
My limitations.
All pre-designed. All orchestrated. All part of a world Jesus built for me before I even noticed I was in it.
Witting Jesus-WORLD Building (something new)
And yet Jesus invites me—now, uniquely, deliberately—to join Him as an intentional co-builder of this personal world. Not because He needs my help, but because building becomes a form of relationship. A form of discipleship. A form of love.
The Advent Of Ai and Vr
Jesus is preparing the world for a time, very soon, when people will be able to see themselves as genuine builders of personal universes—represented both physically and virtually. They will craft environments, ecosystems, identities, symbols, geographies, and worlds. But the most important thing is that they will be able to see their world-building inside His greater world-building—inside the rising framework of Zion, the Kingdom of God.
And when the story is finally told, our contribution to these worlds will be about the same scale as the Hebrews’ contribution to parting the Red Sea. Did they participate? Yes. Did they do the parting? Not really. Maybe we help a little more than that—but not much more.
The miracle is His.
The orchestration is His.
The world is His.
We are simply learning to walk through it with open eyes. That is the essence of “Witting” Jesus-WORLD building.
(Those open eyes are how you (also) watch Jesus TV, not just star in His show for you.)
✈As individuals we don’t control the plane of life, but we shape our seat. Following Jesus Christ, we practice “world-building” in our daily lives—designing small structures, habits, and environments that make love, patience, and truth the path of least resistance. In doing so, tomorrow’s choices become naturally aligned with who we’re becoming.
